Omar Akram

Омар Акрам е афганистанец по произход, роден е и израснал в Ню Йорк. Стилистически за пианиста и композитора Омар Акрам най - близо се оказала музиката  New Age.  В New Age - варианта на Омар, преобладава и ясно се усеща етнически привкус, предимно с ориенталски нотки, не липсват и латино мотиви. Освен Грег Карукас - продуцент, участие в издаването на албумите взима и цяло съзвездие от музиканти от висок клас. Това допринесло за твърде разнообразна звукова палитра на самите проекти - освен клавишните и акустични инструменти, звучат флейта и китара, много разнообразни етнически, перкусионни инструменти.  Повечето от пиесите са свързани с пътешествията били те до романтиката на Изтока - "Caravan", "Gypsy Spirit", "Nomadic Rhapsody"  или пътешествие в света на чувствата на влюбените сърца - "Passage of the Heart", "Whispers in the Moonlight".
